Back when everyone in Canada was still arguing about whether kei trucks should even be street-legal, SamuraiTrucks was the first shop in North America to install Camso track systems on kei trucks. We've been doing track conversions on Suzuki Carry, Daihatsu Hijet, Honda Acty, and Subaru Sambar platforms for years — long before anyone else figured out the mount kits, the suspension geometry, or the hydraulic drive arrangements.

Why Track a Kei Truck?

Kei trucks are already the most efficient work vehicle per dollar on the planet. Put Camso tracks on one and you suddenly have something that will go places a UTV can't, with more payload than a snowmobile, better fuel economy than a full-size pickup, and enough cargo bed for a day's firewood, feed, or fencing materials. Our track-conversion customers use them for:

• Winter acreage work — snow plowing, feeding livestock, hauling firewood
• Hunting camp access — quiet, light-footprint, fuel-efficient
• Cabin access in the shoulder seasons when quads can't go and trucks sink
• Trail maintenance for Crown land permit holders

How It Works

We install Camso ATV/UTV-series track systems onto a kei truck platform, using mount kits and adapters we've refined over years of trial and error. The result: a kei truck that steers, brakes, and drives normally on hard ground, but bolts on track capability when you need it. Ask us for photos and video of finished builds.
